In Year One we are very lucky to have our own outside playarea where we can move some of our learning to include play based activites. |  |
We are having a very busy time in Year One this half term.
In our Science work we are thinking about out senses and how we grow and change. We will be looking at how a baby is different to us and how we use our senses to find out about the world around us. In our Geogrpahy work we will be thinking about our local area, we are linking this closely to our Design Technology work where we are making some moving pictures. We are hoping to make a moving Burton Latimer. We are loking closely at different mark making techniques in our Art work and we will be creatign our own surfaces to draw on using a variety of different papers. Our skills in our Numeracy and Literacy work are continuing from all our hard work in Recption and we will spend time sequencing stories, retelling events and looking at different settings.
