Meadowside Learning Centre
At Meadowside school we have our own Learning Centre which has 3 meeting/activity rooms and a kitchen. The Learning Centre houses our Acorn Out of School Clubs and a Toy Library as well as providing a venue for adult and family learning courses and other activities. We aim to help parents by providing wrap around care for their children in a supportive and caring environment and offer opportunities for adult learners to further develop their skills. |  |
Acorn is a company that has been running childcare facilites for many years from its sight in Castlethorpe near Milton Keynes. There are five out of school clubs, one of which Acorn @ Meadowside. This is housed in the Learning Centre, which opened its doors on September 5th 2005.
Acorn and Meadowside schools are working in close partnership to develop great childcare for primary aged children. Our clubs are run by qualified Playworkers who have been Ofsted approved and our aim is to quality care for your child.
Our sessions are Breakfast club 7.45 - 8.45 am £2.20 per day After School Club 3.15 - 6.00 pm £6.80 per day Holiday club 8.00am - 6.00 pm £17 per day 8.00am - 1.00 pm 1.00pm - 6.00 pm
We have great indoor play such as games, puzzles, construction, painting, creative play and healthy snacks. We have plenty of room for outdoor play which includes football, cricket, swing ball, a playhouse plus the use of the school playground facilities.
